I’m thrilled to offer some of my original drawings for sale below.

You’ll often see my pencil outlines, little notes in the margins, or ideas scribbled on the back — things I personally love to see in the original art that I own, from artists whose work I love.

Enjoy!

You can also commission an original.

Jenna the Unicorn is one of my favourite characters that I’ve created over the years. She’s a beautiful pastel pink, with bright green hair and a rainbow horn — but she has the thickest eyebrows, in a perpetual grumpy frown. She’s a grumpy unicorn, which singles her out amongst unicorns, who as we know, are all glitter and sparkles and happiness. Jenna takes solace in solitude (and books), and has a pretty cynical if accurate view of the world. I think she’s very relatable — a square peg in a round hole, a character that’s in constant conflict with the expectations society places on her. To humorous effect, of course.

I came up with the idea for DeadlineBot 3000 while working in advertising agencies as a creative copywriter. I was always quite good with deadlines, but felt chased, even harassed(!) by the marketing execs in my team. To me, they were desperate for substance to fill their empty and inane presentation decks. (I was young and melodramatic.) Thus, DeadlineBot 3000, a cold-hearted artificial intelligence focused on gathering data and terrorising creative staff, was born.

I feel like for lots of young women, including myself (!) it’s a point of pride to advertise that we “don’t care” about Valentine’s Day. It’s antiquated, anti-feminist, something made up by companies to sell more chocolates and flowers. Now, I can’t speak to those other ladies, but I still want to be treated like a Queen on Valentine’s Day, even if I do insist on opening my own pickle jars.

The Spot Mona annual calendar was my biggest personal project in 2021. I’d never made a calendar before, but I didn’t go easy on myself, dreaming up 12 incredibly detailed gardens with a little cat hidden in each one. I was determined to make it happen, and the project took about three months to create. Meanwhile, my cat Mona was oblivious to the whole thing, sunbathing in our real life garden, completely unbothered by the possibility of impending fame. Cats!
